Emmett’s practice focuses on corporate/commercial law, including the buying and selling of businesses, corporate and farm reorganizations, and secured financing transactions.

In his practice, Emmett has also acted for corporations, shareholders, and other individuals in litigation matters involving contractual disputes, debt recovery, environmental claims, and shareholder disputes. In addition, Emmett assists clients with estate administration and planning, as well as residential real estate.

Emmett grew up in Yorkton and joined the firm as an Associate in 2019 after he received his Juris Doctor degree (with Distinction) in 2018 from the University of Saskatchewan. Previously, Emmett completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (with Great Distinction) in 2014, also at the University of Saskatchewan. Before becoming a lawyer, Emmett worked in both economic forecasting and the insurance industry.
