SHANE B. WAGNER

Shane is an associate, practicing law in criminal defence, civil litigation, family law, real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law. Shane joined the firm in 2007 as an articling student and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2008.

Shane was born and raised in Shaunavon. He earned his law degree at the University of Saskatchewan. During his time in Saskatoon, he volunteered as the publicity director for the Law Students’ Association.

 

In 2012, Shane was the recipient of the Public Legal Education Association Cam Partridge Memorial Volunteer of the Year award. In 2018, Shane was the recipient of the STLA Justice W. Frank Gerein Memorial Award, which honors members of the profession who have made outstanding contributions to the legal community through involvement in voluntary and cause-related legal work, demonstrated professional excellence in legal practice and has demonstrated civility in their dealings with other counsel and the Bench. Shane also currently volunteers his time with Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan.

 

Shane is a current member Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association (STLA) and held the position of district governor for the Yorkton area for eight years. He has assisted the Yorkton Regional High School prepare for the annual mock trial competitions. Shane was also a member of the Kinsmen Club of Yorkton.
